NIOS ON DEMAND admission is open throughout the year for those learners who have already passed the Secondary Examination from the recognized Board and wish to take part admission in one subject or up to 4 subjects for updating their qualification, or students who had appeared but could not clear, or who were eligible but could not appear in the Public Examination of the Secondary level from any recognized board and want to appear through On Demand Examination System of NIOS for the Secondary level only and entry requirement of age, address proof. The students may submit the failed mark sheet/Admit Card (Hall Ticket) along with relevant/supporting documents and photographs on the appropriate space available in the Admission Form for confirmation of the admission. The students who had applied for Transfer of Credit (TOC) have to send the original failed mark sheet mentioning the Reference Number on the back of Mark Sheet to NIOS, Room No. 408, A-24-25, Institutional Area, Sector-62, NOIDA-201309, Uttar Pradesh.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR NIOS ON DEMAND ADMISSION
For Class 10th / Secondary Course
(I) Proof of Birth: Attested Copy Of Birth Certificate Issued By The Municipal Authority Or District Office Of The Registrar Of Birth And Deaths For Those Born On Or After 26.01.1989.
Note: Name of the Child, Father, and Mother should be clearly written on the computerized certificate.
Minimum Age: 14 years as of 31st July For March/April Public Exam and 14 Years as on 31st January For September/October Exams
(2) Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate showing Applicant’s Date of Birth, Issued By The Last School Attended By The Applicant. In Case Of Govt. Schools, The Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate Should Be Signed By The Principal While In The Case Of Private Schools, It Should Also Be Countersigned By The Competent Education Authority Of State/Or District Education Officer.
(3) Proof Of Residence: Any One of the following:
a. Aadhar Card of The Student,
b. Ration Card,
c. Voter I Card of Parents Or Appointment Letter From The Employer On Letter Head,
d. Water/Telephone/Electricity Bill
e. Statement of Running Bank Account Or Income Tax Assessment Order/Election Commission’s Voter Identity Card, Parents Passport In case of Minor.
